American cybersecurity consultant moves to Portugal
Get to Know Josh Parker, an independent contractor that provides services to a cybersecurity company. He develops information security architecture, and has some clients in Portugal. Josh just couldn't resist the high quality of life that Portugal can offer.
Josh was born in California and enjoys travelling, with Portugal being one of his favorite European countries. He quickly fell in love with Cascais, where he currently resides, because of its proximity to the sea and its welcoming attitude toward new businesses.
He has a tight knit group of Portuguese friends from his prior visits, and it was via these acquaintances that he learned about our service.
Very daring, he has a high profile client portfolio at the age of 30 and his objective is to build his firm throughout Europe; for this, nothing beats living in Portugal while working remotely, keeping a high quality of life and being a step away from the other major European capitals.

After the first online meeting, the Migration Adviser suggested that Josh applied for the D2 - Entrepreneur Visa. This was a great option for his case, as he was considering to expand his business to Portugal.
